"I love you." Robert pulls away just enough so they can look each other in the eyes, and he lets his thumbs wipe the wetness from Aaron's cheeks. "You know that, don't ya? I love you so much."
Aaron smiles, hopes it doesn't look as sad as he feels. "I love you too."
Robert's lips return to his and he starts pushing Aaron backwards out of the kitchen. He's soft and warm and everything Aaron has ever wanted, despite the hurt and heartbreak that comes with it. Everything Aaron is about to lose.
