“Yeah, weak and feverish,” Clown emphasized by pressing his palm to his cheek “covered in cracks and clearly out of your mind” his voice rose with incredulousness, causing the other to flinch at the change of tone. This seemed to snap him out of his thought process, the mage took a deep breath before pressing a kiss to the tip of his nose as a wordless apology. “Please tell me you didn’t seriously think I wasn’t going to come back for you.”
