Summary

I always thought that Jocelyn and Lester's situation in S1EP17 was very wasted, because it gave material for a good backstory to C.C. and Niles' relationship, especially since their stories are so similar. Plus, they had a wonderful opportunity to introduce the love arc of these two. But noooo, they decided to give it entirely to Fran and Maxwell. So, I sorted it out. Furthermore, I always found it interesting that every time Fran prompts both Lester and Niles to make their feelings known, she uses the term 'Carpe Diem'
