Summary

“Not for her you idiot. For you!”or

Summary
He wished he could leave the Jingshi, but he was the Yiling Laozu. He was public enemy number one. Especially after what happened to—to the Peacock. People were already terrified of him and accused him of all kinds of things he hadn't done. But add to that something he actually had done? Attacked the cultivation chief's son with his Ghost General and left him gravely injured and comatose? Even if it was an accident, he couldn't exactly walk around and expect people not to panic or try to take him out. It wasn't safe to leave this house.
So here he sits. Like an animal in a cage. Trapped. Tamed. But safe.

Summary
It was the same fight they've had for what feels like a hundred times now. It was a shame things had turned out like this between them. In their youth Wei Wuxian had always held a certain… fondness for the other alpha. But as they grew older, Lan Wangji's distaste for Wei Wuxian only seemed to grow stronger. Which is probably to be expected. Alphas rarely managed to stay friends into adulthood. They were too territorial and hot headed for that. Lan Wangji had barely even tolerated Wei Wuxian before. Of course they wouldn't be friends now.
Wei Wuxian felt bitter about it anyway.
or
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are both alphas who famously don't get along. One day their fighting takes an unexpected turn and Wei Wuxian wakes up with a mark upon his neck. But what will this mean for him now?

Summary
Lan Wangji takes shelter at a brothel on a rainy night. Still a long distance away from Gusu, he resigns himself to asking for a room.
“No women,” he makes sure to say to the madam, simply wanting to rest.
When he opens the door to his room, there is a man draped in red silk, waiting for him.
“Xiansheng,” the man croons. “It’s a beautiful rainy night, are you going to stand there all day?"
