Much like her scrapbook, the photos on her phone told the story of who they were, who they were becoming. A map of all of the places they had been.
She'd have to print them out one day.
And while there were definitely pictures of her and Beatrice, they were definitely fewer of those than the others.
Ava made a silent promise to herself to change that.

Beatrice leaned against her. "Why do I feel as though you aren't the only one who's going to get drunk tonight."
Ava turned to kiss Beatrice's temple. "Because you're smart, and because I'm getting is all wasted is Mary's birthday present to herself."
Judging by the grin on Mary's face, Beatrice suspected that Ava was right.
It was hard to complain as Ava's lips trailed down to brush against her own.
"I'm curious though." Ava whispered. "What does a drunk Beatrice look like?"
"It looks like you're going to find out."
