In the new hit fic where Hermione is a pissed, pregnant, single mom ready to take on Albus Dumbledore and the Dark Lord at the same fucking time because she’s Hermione Granger. Sirius is on his fucking knees and Remus is so, so grateful to be a dad (eventually). You’ll laugh, cry, and scream but we’re going to keep going. Found family might be hobbled together with a shotgun and duct tape but Hermione will keep these bastards alive if she has to commit every war crime known to man. We are rocking a sappy, kickass, romantic comedy about family and how Hermione would have done it better than these ancient fucks. Seriously, did they all share braincells and weak morals? -

Summary
The war is lost, and Hermione is whisked away by McGonagall when Harry Potter falls and asked to go back in time to fix what went wrong. She doesn't use a time-turner, she uses a potion that has her reborn in a new family.
She is reborn as Hermione Cassiopeia Black, born in the Most Ancient House of Black. Sister to Andromeda, Bellatrix, and Narcissa Black and betrothed to Sirius Black.
Memories filter from her previous life. She wants to know if it's a dream or a nightmare.

Her work with the original order was important, but clearly nobody relayed this to her partner. Young and not yet tainted by the pain of loss and Azkaban, Sirius Black was a lot harder to manage than Ron or Harry. When he wasn't making every situation the punchline to a long winded joke, he was making his salacious intentions well known.
