Demone.
Kojiro sentiva di dover chiamare Kaza in quel modo, ma non capiva il perché. Così si costrinse a fermarsi prima che quell'orribile appellativo potesse uscire dalle sue labbra, lasciando la frase in sospeso e la parola incastrata tra la lingua e il palato. Confuso e con gli occhi sgranati, spinse via Kaza e scese dal lettino per mettere quanta più distanza possibile tra sé e l'altro uomo.

«Concentrati su di me, Kyojuro.»
Nel sentire quelle parole sussurrate a pochi centimetri di distanza dal proprio orecchio, Kojiro spalancò gli occhi e puntò lo sguardo ardente sul viso sorridente di Kaza. Il suo cuore perse un battito, prima di riprendere a battere furiosamente nel petto, e un fremito caldo lo attraversò da capo a piedi. Gli girava la testa e aveva come la sensazione di stare cadendo giù, in picchiata verso il pavimento: non ci stava capendo più niente.
