Okay, this series is about Ballerina/Leap, and I'll probably be posting works more about Odette and/or Mérante than Félicie, Victor, Camille and all the other characters.
I'll probably deal mainly with the past, because I'm a sucker for tragedy, and this is a tragedy, fight me! Also, I won't post regularly: seeing as this is a result of a spur-of-the-moment idea, I don't have anything planned and will post whenever a new fic comes up in my mind.P.s. the title comes from Sam Smith's song "Fire on fire", which I think is a good one for a hypotetical Mérante/Odette playlist.

Summary
Luffy and Tama are left stranded after their home is destroyed. Ace - Luffy's older brother and Tama's father - dies in the attack, leaving Luffy as the sole provider for Tama. To give her a better life, Luffy makes the decision to find Sabo - Luffy's eldest brother. Together they embark on a journey, meeting new friends along the way. Through trials and tribulations, this small rag tag group slowly become a family.

‘Is that my name?’ Shigeo couldn’t mask the disbelief he felt at his shishou’s words.
“Ha, can you believe that, Katsuya? My name’s a pun.”
“At least- At least you have your name back.”
“Nah, I’m still just Arataka,” Shishou says, grinning down at Shigeo from his vintage point. “Reigen was a fuc- uh, a fudging loser that no one wanted around. No wonder no one remembers him anymore.”

Summary
He doesn't feel his fingers relax, doesn't notice that they have until his mug of coffee shatters on the kitchen floor. It splashes over his legs, up against his whitewashed cabinets. Reigen shifts his gaze to look down at the mess that has materialised at his feet. Coffee seeps between his toes, and he knows it should disgust him viscerally, but he can't really feel it.
After a long moment, he reaches behind himself for a towel. That seems like a good place to start, soak up the liquid. He crouches and a thought flashes through his mind. It doesn't feel like his own thought - is hardly in his brain long enough to even form as one. It's not a coherent string of words. Instead, it's an image, a tug, an impulse that urges him.
Reigen puts out his hand, palm first, and lowers it into the shards of broken ceramic. He feels the edges of them prick at his skin but it all registers as pressure rather than pain. Without thinking, he twists.

Reigen is the victim of a curse, but that isn't all there seems to be to it. Even after it's exorcised, Reigen finds himself suffering from habits he thought he'd long since overcome that the curse has brought back to the surface.
