There's always something cozy with healthy ships that just get each other and would just sit with you to listen. The potential of Adrien/Chat finding a friend with someone fresh, as kind as him, and understood him well especially since she was introduced on the season that actively disrespects him, is just so gooood. It's disappointing how they never played unto it even platonically bc they regressed his role and Marinette/LadyBug had to get everyone.
Like, I love how they both just started fun and excited; they're actually enjoying each other's company especially Zoe. Then, she saw Chat beyond the goofball, and was quick to see the hope despite his struggles, and then empathized with him. Meanwhile, Chat trusted her to be vulnerable and found someone who made time for him just to listen. HE NEEDED THIS. I don't know how they handled this in canon, but this fic is beautiful. I also love how she had this familiar feeling of knowing him from somewhere before, she would have understood his struggles as Adrien too, and ngl, as seen in this, she would have made an amazing confidant.
