What is the correct way to cope with death? How does one simply forget the sound of buildings as they clouded the air and the screams of devastation as she tortures the one by which she was summoned? Wait... That wasn't Tommy's scream... that was his own. His world is crumbling around him. The sounds of the world falter as the gods themselves wait for a reaction. No one speaks. No one moves. And for once there is peace in a world that is in constant turmoil. And he finds himself hating every moment of peace that finds its way through the silence of the moment. Below him, the ashes and dust float away to reveal the picture of true sorrow. Lying under the rubble, almost practically hidden from the universe, his brother lay. Ashes found a home on his golden hair, his eyes were closed and if not for the blood that was now starting to seep from the crevice the body was tucked away in, Wilbur would have thought he was asleep. That was it. The light that had shone through the deepest depths of darkest in this world had faded past return.
Tommy was dead.And he hadn't even got to say goodbye.
