Grace thought that once Voldemort was gone life would go back to how it was, or at least close to how it was. She thought that they'd be able to live happily, that she, Harry and her dad will be this happy family. She thought that life will start to become easier again, that she and Harry will have all the things figured out and be able to start living those dreams they had talked about when they were in sixth year.
She was wrong.
Plagued with nightmares of months on the run, the Battle of Hogwarts, and seeing Harry dead, Grace doesn't know if her and Harry will ever experience those dreams they had. They might have fought and won a war, but neither of them are quite ready for the world of adulthood. Every day that passes, Harry and Grace find themselves beginning to sink further and further into darkness, and finding it harder to hold onto each other. Dealing with grief, PTSD, and trying to navigate adulthood, they realize they have more to think about and figure out than they thought.
They've been through more than the average couple, but will the fall out of the war be what finally pulls them apart? Or will they finally get their Happily Ever After?
