Summary
Kennith simmons was a young man who lived in michigan, USA. he was greatly hated by his peers, for he simply acted different. sometimes, he acted really feminine, sometimes, he would act masculine, and every so often he would act somewhere in between. sadly, things like this weren't really accepted in the 80s. his peers often called him gay ( which he couldnt entirely deny, but it still hurt.) and, to make matters worse, he was verbally abused/neglected by his parents. in this story we will explore the time of kenniths life; from meeting his best friend, all the way to his death.

also, i did try to make this as american-ish as possible but i live in england and ive never been to the states (off topic, im going this year on holiday) so if any american readers notice anything wrong like in the schools or language used in the fic, please let me know!!

When Tanaka approached, Hinata became all too aware of the sweat that was collected on Tanaka’s forehead, in his sideburns sliding down his chin. He went to lick his lips but ended up feeling his teeth chatter together.
“What’s up Hinata? Woah bro it’s like super cold out, you shouldn’t just be wearing a T-shirt!” Tanaka explained. And Hinata’s throat went dry when Tanaka reached for the hem of his sweatshirt, throwing it against Hinata’s frame. The orange top blinked. Looking up at Tanaka with wide eyes.
“Wait! Tanaka-senpai won’t you be cold?!” He asked with concern. Tanaka just grinned at him, a slight flush touching his cheeks at the word ‘senpai’.
