Summary
No more borders around, or below, or above, so long as you champion the ones you love...
Riku felt as though he had been waiting his entire life to become a keyblade master—ever since the handle slid into his grip, ever since a tall, kind stranger had beckoned him to take it.
With the Mark of Mastery exam looming, Riku had never felt less deserving. He had shut his heart away for so long, he barely remembered the sound of its call—and as he struggled to learn to listen again, he began to understand just how much he still had to reckon with…and just how much it would ask of him.

Post-KH2 and pre-3D, Riku and Sora spend a while training with the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee in preparation for their exam.

Summary
Their skins were so close that Sora could feel the warmth coming off Riku’s, could feel the soft and tiny hairs that already touched. Maintaining eye contact, Sora closed the final inch. And the thing that had felt off-balance inside of him ever since they returned suddenly seemed to slot into place. Something tense that Sora hadn’t realised was there unwound, and that needy feeling he had been having for so long now suddenly felt eased, like the relief of drinking a large glass of cold water on a really hot day.

Summary
Over the careful cultivation of years, she has learned to appreciate the pearls she can make, even if she’s the only one who knows they’re there. And they are real to her, the jewels of her tongue, invisible strands wrapping her throat, tighter and tighter as they ascend.
It’s so effortless for her, now.
