Summary
Their numbers having dwindled significantly in the wake of Sauron’s experiments, the Uruk have ventured south from Forodwaith in search of lands they can call their own. Led by Adar, they have traveled South along the forest river through Greenwood the Great, which offers them cover from the sun. The forest holds many secrets, including a system of caves where the Uruk make a temporary home to recover their population and to begin the work of uniting Middle Earth's scattered tribes of Uruk into one.
But when two of their patrols are decimated by an unknown shadow within a span of weeks and the surviving Uruk fall deathly ill, with eyes black as coal and a thirst for blood, they find themselves in crisis again.
Adar unexpectedly meets an elven seer, Narwen, who lives in the hidden city of Erdolenael in Greenwood the Great, which is a refuge for many. Narwen's mother Ivren may possess the only key to healing the affected Uruk, and Adar may be the only one who holds the key to the enemy that has descended on them all.

Set in the time between the slaying of Sauron at Dúrnost and season one of ROP - safely an AU, though elements of ROP will likely be woven into the story eventually.
