His tail squeezes the legs of his stool as Shinsou almost chokes on his tea.
“Oh my god, I’m sorry.” Mashirao did his best to comfort his friend.
“Sorry,” Shinsou chokes out. “You just took me by surprise.”
Maybe he should have approached this conversation differently.
When Shinsou transfers to an agency around the area Ojiro works in and struggles to find an apartment. Ojiro eventually makes an offer for him to move into his place.
Life is full of changes, and when you think you have it all figured out, you might realize you're still learning. And sometimes you might realize other things as well.

Eddie’s words sink in and Buck fumbles the plate in his hand, watching open-mouthed as it falls to the floor and smashes into a million pieces, scattering across the linoleum.
“Shit!” Buck yelps, shoving an arm out instinctively to keep Eddie in place, lest he starts to move and step on a shard with his bare feet. Eddie looks up at him, bemused and impossibly fond, a small smile playing on his lips even though the crease in his brow he’s had since he returned from his therapy session is still etched in place.
“Swear jar!” shouts Chris gleefully.

Bobby's mouth opened to respond when they heard a strangled chain of coughing behind them. When they turned, they saw Chimney, choking on a bagel.
