Summary
On the heels of an argument, Diluc goes tromping through Mondstadt ruins in search of Fatui and stumbles across a volatile ley line.
It's not that he hates Kaeya - he doesn't, at least he tells himself so. He just hates every time Kaeya tries to be what they were before.
Then the ley line explodes, and he finds himself in his seventeen-year-old body, dealing with five years of stress and surrounded by people who don't understand why the boy who doted on Kaeya at every turn suddenly hates him. And when he finally loses it, he's sent away from the estate - on his own, ashamed, shut out - just like Kaeya was, and everything Diluc has thought about Kaeya for the past five years is suddenly cast in a new light.
