Spoilers for the Season 3 Teaser trailer~
The faces that huddle around the box have gone from distressed to panicked as Player 120 and 149 take charge, pushing to the front of the group and leaning over the casket. As they try to rouse Gi-hun, In-ho feels the same icy panic that lines their faces shoot down his spine.
“What’s happening?” He barks at the Officer.
On the screen, one of the pink soldiers approaches the group. At first they resist, yelling at the guards but a pointed firearm is enough to force them to warily withdraw. Once they back away, the triangle-masked guard kneels down by the coffin and reaches in. After a moment they pull away and take out their radio. In-ho stares at the Officer impatiently as the other man listens to the guard’s report.
The Officer looks up at him when the radio clicks off.
“Player 456 isn’t breathing, sir.”

Summary
“You’re not leaving this room without putting that mask on.” In-ho says, matter-of-factly.
“What are you going to do to stop me?” Gi-hun says, purposefully leaning on the door handle. In-ho’s eyes track the movement. Where he’d been exasperated and distracted at the beginning of the conversation, now the man sits up straighter, a coiled tension to his body.
“I could handcuff you to my bed.”
Guard Gi-hun has a terrible habit of refusing to wear his mask. In-ho decides to discipline him for it.

Aish, what a lame way to die.
Gi-hun wouldn’t say that he enjoys his job. When you get right down to it, life as a pink guard is days filled with hefting dead or dying bodies into coffins wrapped in bright pink bows, and then sliding those same coffins into an incinerator one after the other.
Add to that the fact that his boss, the extremely terrifying and cool Front Man of the games, has suddenly taken an interest in him, and Gi-hun is starting to think that it might be time for a much needed vacation.
Or: Guard!Gi-hun is just trying his best to pay his debts and support his sick mom, Jun-ho is still wandering around set on bringing down the games, and In-ho finds himself unexpectedly charmed by the antics of Worker 456.
