Summary
Dunk is sent to retrieve Aerion Targaryen from his exile with one clear mission: make sure the prince returns home.
He expects to find the same cruel, sadistic prince who nearly killed him at the Trial of Seven. He expects scorn, sarcasm, and malice. Instead, he finds an Aerion who is strangely quiet, observant, and, disturbingly... kind.
As their journey back to Summerhall becomes one of self-discovery, Dunk begins to question everything he thought he knew about the prince.
When the mask finally falls, Dunk realizes that the Aerion Targaryen he once knew is gone—and the truth about whoever has taken his place is far stranger than any song ever sung about dragons.
Or: The one where Finn Bennett ends up in Westeros and takes Aerion Targaryen's place

Summary
The prince, blind in one eye, mute, and with flesh ruined by wildfire, stared at the court with cold, silent hatred. Everyone at Summerhall saw only a bitter monster.
But in Dunk's mind, Aerion's voice was clear, exhausted, and desperate:
"Don't look at me. Please, stop looking at me."
Or:
Dunk is secretly a telepath, Aerion desperately needs someone to hear him, and together they find salvation in each other's scars.

Summary
The war is over, and Anakin has everything he's ever wanted: Padmé is alive, and they have two beautiful children he adores. He doesn't have to follow the Jedi Code; he's not a Jedi anymore. He should be happy. Everything is fine.
The fact that he hasn't seen Obi-Wan in eight months and four days shouldn't matter.

Summary
Anakin, in a fit of bravery uncharacteristic even for the Hero With No Fear, decides that he should tell the Council about his secret marriage, so that no Sith could ever use it against him to hurt the Jedi Order or the Republic.
It goes swimmingly--if you ignore the fact that Anakin definitely meant to say that he married Padmé in the wake of Geonosis, and yet the entire Jedi Council seems to think he married Obi-Wan.
And also if you ignore the fact that now no one believes them when they tell them flat out that Anakin is married to and in love with Padmé, not his old master.
And also if you also ignore the fact that Anakin doesn't know how to ignore the fact that being in love with Obi-Wan sort of makes a lot of sense. In fact, it feels like the only thing that's made sense in the last four years, come to think of it.
