Summary
Caleb Widogast does not belong here.
The world of sharp suits, board meetings, and billion dollar budgets is a far cry from Caleb’s preferred domain: the research lab. Where nobody cares about his faded T-shirts and raggedy jeans. But a year of industry experience will look good on his CV, and the hefty pay bump wouldn’t hurt either. How hard could a secretary gig be?
What he finds behind the glittering edifice of Auriga, Wildemount’s leading name in arcane technology, is CEO Essek Thelyss, who maintains his domain with an acid tongue and an iron fist. It’s difficult not to find him intriguing, this handsome, guarded, brilliant man. It’s even more difficult not to want to please him.
Caleb knows to keep it professional, though. Working late nights together at the office and lingering glances here and there don’t cross the boundaries of propriety.
That is, until they do.
Or: the one where Essek Thelyss loses focus and has a consensual workplace relationship.
Updates weekly on Mondays.

Summary
A flash of amber light filled the air, and Essek felt the surge of wild magic even before he turned to take in whatever the consequence of Caleb's spell had taken the form of.
A little boy with short red hair and bright blue eyes was standing where Caleb ought to be, watching Essek curiously and pulling a now too large coat around his shoulders. “Wer bist du?” the boy asked, then when Essek didn’t answer, "Who are you?"

Summary
Caleb asked, “Are you in there, friend? Did the Wild Magic do something?” Stupid question. Of course it did.
It was stupid to ask Essek to come here in the first place, to fight an enemy with an anti magic cone in the Wild Magic of Aeor. Caleb might have pointed that out, if they had any allies who weren’t wizards, or if he wasn’t so selfish. They’d put one of their greatest allies, one of their only allies, in horrible danger and now, now…
“You’re from the Empire,” a quiet voice said, a much smaller head poking through the layers of white fur. The Undercommon accent was a bit thicker than usual, and Essek’s carefully cropped, coiffed hair was now long and mussed up, brushing his shoulders in soft white waves. There was also the fact that this Essek was only just about four feet tall, barely even that, and appeared to be maybe about eight or nine, or perhaps more like thirty if Caleb took into account elf maturity levels.
He also didn’t seem to have any memory of where they were or why they were here.

Summary
Essek Thelyss comes to Soltryce to deliver guest lectures and, on the side, cultivate the brand new Archmage of Domestic Protections. He’s hoping that Caleb Widogast will oblige him by picking up his predecessor’s interest in conspiring to steal Luxon beacons, after so rudely murdering Da’leth mere weeks before the culmination of their schemes.
Essek is prepared for espionage. He is not prepared to find a love that will change the course of his life.

Summary
"He still looked devastatingly attractive in every possible way and it wasn’t fair because he looked like he had just rolled out of the bed. Essek needed at least an hour in the morning to talk himself into being even vaguely pleasant.
“Oh! Guten Morgen, and welcome back to the Xhorhaus Bakery,” Caleb said, a certain pleasant crinkle to his expression. He was smiling a soft, gentle smile that caught Essek off guard. “What can I get you this morning?”
At Xhorhaus Bakery, where the Mighty Nein bake up Rosohna's most delectable treats, magic is something that is in the air. For Essek Theylss, there might just be love there too. *COMPLETED*
