Summary
Based off the Fireblood Dragon Series written by Ruby Dixon: It's been three years since the skies tore open and dragons-fire spitting beasts, spilled upon the Earth. With such volatile and deadly creatures dominating the sky, humans erect their own metal forged shelters, the Forts. It isn't long before the general panic subsides and corruption befouls the strongholds. Those with guns are in charge and the ones without become their servants.
Fortunately Valentina is spared the brunt of it all because of her medical expertise. She is free to travel in and out of the Fort-a crime punishable by banishment if not sanctified-in search of medical supplies. On one of these authorized trips she is caught in an ice storm, and to make matters worse she is cornered by two battling dragons. And by the looks of it, the root of their quarrel is her. Which one of them gets to have her?
