But hearing it from his senior that’s currently staring at his lips while licking his own, from Bokuto-san that’s always so honest and earnest, from Bokuto Koutarou the star volleyball player who could have anyone he wants, from his best friend who truly knows every side of him – all of him.
It’s just a few words with simple vocabulary, but Akaashi’s entire body lights up in flames.
Alternatively; Akaashi unconsciously falls in love with his best friend as they grow up, and realizes years later, that to be known is to be loved.

Summary
Bottling your feelings is not good, Satori has always known this, but he also knows you can't spill your feelings everywhere and you need the right time. He doesn't find a right time, he's too scared.
Which is probably how he ends up sneaking out of training camp with two rival players and then breaking down. But he makes two good friends in the process. Let's just hope that team rivalry, and jealousy(?) don't get in the way.

Tendou professes as he squeezes Ushijima’s shoulders and locks eyes with Oikawa again.
Tendou loves joking around with his opponents before a volleyball match but-
“Tendou, I am so sorry.”
Ushijima simply says, and he sounds like he really means it.
Tendou is so confused. Why was Ushijima apologizing to him?
“I had no idea that the nature of our relationship was that of boyfriends and not best friends. I shall do my best to make the necessary adjustments to my behavior.”
Wait. Did Ushijima not know he was joking to Oikawa about them being boyfriends?

TLDR: Tendou makes a joke to Oikawa that he and Ushijima are dating and Ushijima actually thinks he is serious about it. This makes Ushijima realise a thing or two about their relationship and the adjustments he might want to make to said relationship.
