“Angel,” he breathes, nasal from the broken nose. Kurapika’s chest expands, lightheaded. Kuroro’s dark eyes are watery at the corners. His gaze sweeps over Kurapika again, pauses at the frilly ribbon of his receptionist uniform.
Kurapika shifts, bare knees pressing together.
Kuroro licks his lips, smearing blood on the corner of his mouth and expression turning pensive at the flavor. “I never thought it would be you.”

“We’ve been living together for two years,” Yatora says, looking at him as if he’s grown a third arm. “Do we really need to set rules now? I think we’ve been getting along fine, Yakumo-san.”
They’ve been getting along more than fine, but Yakumo isn’t going to be the one to bring it up. He just shrugs again, pretending it doesn’t matter at all, and tosses the pencil in the air. “I’ve got it! What about no sex? Can ya do that, Yatora?”
They break their one and only rule not even a week later.
The shit thing about being exes with Yatora is that Yakumo is so goddamn in love with him that he doesn’t remember how else to be.
