Cerberus whipped around and roared at the audacious shade, spit and leftover crumbs of satyr flew out of his mouth and a speed that could cut skin. Patroclus’ face scrunched, cringing at the foul smell of goat meat.

The modern au where Hermes is almost thirty years old and still single, and to avoid disappointing his family, he tells them he's bringing his new boyfriend to Zeus' 60th birthday celebrations. One problem though: there is no boyfriend. But with the help of his friend Zagreus, Hermes finds a possible candidate to fill the role on a temporary basis: a goth antique dealer by the name of Charon.
