Coop drawls at her, a hand placed on her back. He doesn’t understand what the hell prompted him to do such a thing.He must be going insane—he thinks. His movements slow and automatic. Like he was holding his late wife’s hair back when she was pregnant with Janey.
But it’s Lucy. Lucy MacLean. Fucking Vaultie Lucy MacLean, below him, whom he’s soothing as her withdrawals cause her entire form to shake and spasm, rejecting all the contents in her stomach.
What makes him feel even crazier though, is the tantalizing urge to sink his teeth into the nape of her neck. Her hair is soft, the softest damn thing he’s felt in awhile.
What if the Ghoul never betrayed Lucy in S2–Ep05? Sorta-canon compliant, but a rewrite nonetheless.
