Summary
Steve's an alpha who's never popped a knot, not until Billy comes along.

Steve is not sure how they got here but he is not complaining, does not resist when Billy presses him against the Camaro and kisses him, hot and heavy tongue sliding into his mouth. Everything moves quickly after that, the scent of Billy making Steve muddy brained, like some sort of drug. He cannot get enough of it, lapping at Billy’s neck, nose pressed over Billy’s scent glands as he undresses them both. A little sliver of nerves slips in when Billy presses a slick finger into him but then Billy's mouth is on him, teeth scraping over his glands, sucking a mark over them. Steve has never really let anyone mark him before but he does not want Billy to stop, he likes the way he bites with the flat edges of his teeth digging in hard and Steve hardly notices when one finger becomes two.

Summary
What if Billy Hargrove was a better, slightly more well-adjusted person throughout the events of season two? Also, what if he had similar abilities to Eleven?
Here's my take on that.
Season 2 AU.
"There was something condensing at the far end of the street, shadows shifting unnaturally as the red sky darkened to black. Billy instinctively tightened his hold on Byers, unconsciously beginning to back away from the shadowy thing that was growing darker and taller by the second. He'd nearly been driven insane by the intangible sense of danger that had haunted him since moving to Hawkins, but there was no relief in finally seeing the thing that had set off all his alarm bells. He couldn't punch a goddamned shadow. What the fuck."

Summary
“Billy talked to me. As Vecna, but it was Billy, I know it.” Max’s eyes lock onto Steve’s, daring him to disagree.
“Max, we don’t know what Vecna is capable of,” Steve says, not sure where Max is going with this.
“I don’t care,” Max says. “I only care about Billy. And he’s down there,” she jabs the rowboat's oars back into the water, “and I’m going to get him back.”
Steve barely has a chance to scream Max’s name before she’s plunging beneath the surface and into the fiery glow of the gate. Steve doesn’t hesitate before he jumps in after her.

Summary
Billy wakes up at the Byers house, confused and angry, and just so happens to take a good look around the house. The house that is littered with creepy drawing. And also— the fridge is looking at him funny. He opens it, and a fucking bald dog thingy falls on his shoes.
A.K.A, what if Billy started piecing shit together and found out about the upside down, and with that knowledge— proceeds to become a bad-ass monster hunter.
A.K.A, I wanted more Billy because I felt as if his character was wasted.
