Summary
Daniel takes the wheel of his and Armand's newest luxury car after a night of heavy drinking. Inspired a little by the James Spader movie White Palace.
There was a smugness on Armand’s face Daniel didn’t like. It was humiliating sometimes, the way he was so frequently inebriated by the city-nightlife offerings, or by the more intoxicating substance in his lover's veins, while said lover remained stubbornly unaffected and sober throughout.
They’d started the night in a fancy bar uptown. Armand had picked him up in a sleek Cadillac, a dark, jewel toned green convertible he’d stolen from who knows who, and who knows where. As Armand drove them to their first location, Daniel had fidgeted in his tailored suit, one of several Armand had gifted him in recent months, messing with the pointed, exaggerated collar. Had Armand killed the man who owned this vehicle? Was it his blood that Daniel should thank for the pleasant, gentle glow on Armand’s cheeks?

Summary
There were some things you just had to accept as the downsides of living with a centuries old vampire. You couldn’t see them during the day, they’ll drain your blood as a light midnight snack, and they will conduct gross experiments in the kitchen that aren’t exactly health and safety approved. Besides, blood was already soaking through the dish towel, and he didn’t fancy cleaning up a trail of blood from the kitchen to the bathroom, where Daniel was about 60% sure he had left the first aid kit.
Daniel thinks he might get a quiet night in to just drink some coffee and snuggle with his dead lover in front of the TV, but the aftermath of one of Armands blender experiments creates a hazardous kitchen environment that puts an end to that idea. Armand fixes Daniel up the only way he knows how.

“I don’t want to," Obi-Wan snaps.
(As part of their mutual probation period after Melida/Daan, the council sends Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to the town of Coan-Connach on Stewjon, so that Obi-Wan can decide if he wants to continue with on the path to become a jedi or if he would like to return to his family. Coan-Connach, however, is a small town struggling to keep up its idyllic facade).

Anakin is promptly stunned into silence. He stares at Obi-Wan, and okay, he gets Obi-Wan’s twitchiness now. What a bomb to drop. Then he hides his face behind his hands and groans. Loudly.
“Anakin…”
“No, no, it’s fine”, Anakin interrupts, far too cheerfully. “I’m always up for committing treason. This is great. Exactly what I was planning to do on this fine evening. Especially against one of my best friends. No, this is gonna be a blast.”
