Summary
The first time Lambert sees Jaskier, he thinks the man is a beta. He's walking next to Geralt into Kaer Morhen's courtyard and looking around with wide eyes. Lambert eyes the newcomer suspiciously from the ladder he's perched on and turns his back to them when he spots Eskel coming to welcome him with a smile on his face.
He still keeps an ear on the conversation taking place into the courtyard and decides that he doesn't care if Geralt brought his partner to the keep for the winter. Geralt is a grown man, Geralt lives here too, therefore Geralt is allowed to bring guests.

When you spend a lot of time with small children, you tend to pick up on certain phrases and habits that people don't generally use with adults. Eggsy spent a lot of time raising Daisy: he knows all the tricks. From giving stickers for good behavior to adopting a certain tone of voice when he really means it, Eggsy knows the "dad" playbook by heart. The problem is that that's not exactly something you turn off.

Aiden is always far too thin and miserable in the spring when they meet up again, so Lambert invites him up to Kaer Morhen for the winter. Good food, good company, a nice warm bed, and the option of very good sex - what's not to like?
Aiden left the caravan and its brutal alphas as soon as he could survive on his own. He is heartbroken when Lambert suggests he come to Kaer Morhen to be the alpha Wolves' newest toy - but he'd do anything for Lambert, even this.

There’s a long pause, and Matt is about to ask again when Lucy blurts, “Were you born Madeline Murdock?”
Matt freezes.
“That’s not… that hasn’t been my– my name,” he swallows, “in a very long time.”
“But– but that’s what you were named,” Lucy says. “At first.”
“At first,” Matt echoes warily. He isn’t sure what to think. His birth certificate was changed. Very few people know. Foggy didn’t find out for over a year; Karen still doesn’t know. “Why are you–”
“And you had a baby.”
