“Beloved?” Blue repeated, the word seemingly taking all the air out of him.
“You.. you cannot possibly be serious,” Red said in disgust.

Summary
He sounded genuine. As genuine as he could get, anyway- which meant he had to be lying.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” Vox demanded, coming to his senses. “Is this a joke?”
“Hmm. Not to my knowledge, no!”

OR: Depressed and defeated, Vox casts a spell to erase his memories of Alastor. It backfires, and Alastor loses all memory of their fallout. This can only end well, probably.
