It’s not the first time Akito has cooked for him, but it’s the first time he’s done so as partners. Some tiny part of him secretly hopes they’ll be able to keep doing this for years to come, and then Toya has to laugh about how sentimental he’s getting over some food. But then again, it’s difficult not to get sentimental while thinking about Akito, the person who knows him like the back of his hand, the person who’s always been there for him, his best friend.
