Summary
Many thought Hermione and Ron would stay together forever. Or at least for a very long time. She herself thought so for a while. She believed that one day they would marry and have children, but after almost a year everything changed. They all helped rebuild their second home, and while Hermione helped rebound books and write orders for books that could no longer be magically assembled, she not only received a letter, she also realized... that there was no future for her and Ron.
She didn't know at the time what the decisive factor was that made her realize it was over, but she could understand his disappointment when she broke up with him over dinner.
She still remembered the headline "Dream couple of the golden trio, probably not a dream couple after all" very well, and still rolled her eyes at it. So why was she thinking about it now? Now, six years after the war.And will she take an outstretched hand?

Summary
Two years after the war, Hermione, Harry, Ron, and a few others repeated their last year. Or rather, the one they never got to start. It began during the train ride, when Ron and Hermione argued until she left the compartment with her bag and Crookshanks and looked for a new one. She finally found the one where Draco and Harry were sitting, and what Hermione would never have thought possible... Crookshanks, who wouldn't let anyone touch him, lay down on Draco's lap after about half an hour and let himself be stroked.
They talked for a long time, laughed, exchanged ideas, and finally shared some sweets...
Before the train journey, Hermione had thought that it might be a stupid idea to do the year at all... but during the train journey, she changed her mind... at least until... Potions.Bookmarked by OBAC1012
