The first thing that struck Clint as odd was the faint reek of Pine-Sol. Wade’s apartment was cleaner than Clint had ever seen it. The click of the spare key in Wade’s lock summoned a guy definitely was not Wade, rubbing his thick, gleaming brown hair dry with an old, nubby towel and who had abs for days. His eyes landed on Clint’s and he froze mid-rub.
“Oh, shit.”
“Hey. So. I’m here about the drafty window. Which, y’know. You would’ve known. If you actually lived here.”

When Peter gets a gray soulmark on his eighteenth birthday, one that he's seen a million times on the wrist of the man he loved, his whole world shatters. The weight of Tony's death already a heavy burden to bear, he's not entirely sure how he'll make it through the rest of his life without him. As the years go by, he tries to heal, but between the mark on his wrist and the echos of a video message he can't even finish in his mind, it seems like he'll never truly recover. But four years after Tony's death he makes a discovery that might just give him a chance.

Summary

“Will you come with me? You’re so good with kids,” he pleaded as she finished up with his collar and awkwardly patted the lapels of his suit down, forcing a smile onto her face when she looked up at him.

Summary
