Summary
This is a prequel which begins ten years prior to the events of Discovery continues on into the show itself, re-framing and re-imagining a few things. Sort of a "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern" of Star Trek Discovery which aims to explain, correct, and fix several gaps in the show, as well as right some wrongs.
