A month after the events of Brand New Day, Peter is still trying to figure out what comes next. At the end of a quiet night patrol, he somehow finds himself outside MJ's window, watching her from a distance—and, for some reason, he can't bring himself to leave.

My own answer to the question that popped into my head when I walked out of the theater: why are we all here, so deeply touched by Peter, MJ, and Ned, coming back again and again to read and write about them?
