After college, Regulus starts working as a book editor in London, going back to his home country after spending seven years living in France with his uncle.
He misses London, he wants to see more of his brother and reconnect with him. He wants to leave his past in France and start a new life. But when he arrives, he quickly remembers about James Potter,— six years older than him, the father of a seven-year-old and his brother's best friend. Also, Regulus' childhood crush.
Now that Regulus is all grown up, he decides he wants a taste of James.

Summary
There was so much leading up to this point. Everyone was born into families and paths were created from there. They grew into students, eager for an education and to build lasting friendships. Walburga and Orion Black always said the people who surround you shape who you become. Most parent’s probably said that. That's why the four Houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry labeled you to be a specific kind of person from the beginning.
Regulus was required to surround himself with the approved sort of people, never given the choice to see what he would have become in different circumstances. Those people definitely shaped his life and the relationships would last but not in the way a child expects friendship to be like. His parents were so proud the day he took the mark at sixteen and had a great burden of expectations placed on him to support Lord Voldemort. Regulus wasn’t allowed to feel, he never had the choice for a different life.
Until the day he was bound to the one person who forced him to feel.

Regulus Black is at the most pivotal moment in his career making history on his Eras Tour only one month in to the first leg for the whole world to find out and he himself that his relationship of the last six years ended. Picking the pieces up things slowly start to fall into place when he receives a friendship bracelet with a phone number on it from a person he hadn't uttered the name of in over a decade.
