His fingers brushed through the silky strands of white hair where he rested. The others were sprawled across the other couches, all connected in some way, whether that be in an embrace, interlocked fingers, or simply a leg thrown casually over another’s lap. They allowed a comfortable silence to wash over, letting the impact of his story sink in, comforted by just feeling one another by their side. The deepness of their bond managed to warm the space that once felt cold and oppressive. They were together, and they’d make it back out into the world as a team.
“I’ve always dreamed of a world that would accept me for who I am, that would accept us. These world governments don't give a damn about us commoners, they only look to protect their own. I wanna take their system and flip it on its head, show ‘em that we need to be heard.” Hongjoong recounted to them, “It‘s part of the reason why I started doing graffiti, wanted people to see my art and wake up. To revolt.”
Seonghwa chuckled into his shoulder “Sorta like a French Revolution, huh?”

San chuckles into his coffee, almost spitting it across the table... probably not a good first impression with a neat freak. "Well, I hate cleaning and I'm not too good at cooking unless it's grilling meat or making instant recipes that include the ingredients in little packets. I guess that means you complete me!"
Instead of being put off, Seonghwa lights up. The awkward tension still hadn't appeared, San's usual fear of meeting new people was nowhere in sight. Seonghwa was also taking in every word San said like it was the funniest or most heart wrenching thing on earth. Their shoes had thumped against one another's and hadn't moved since, their fingers gravitating closer in the middle of the table until they touched, remaining there for the rest of their talks.
