Louis forced his hands down, looking straight up into Harry’s clear, green eyes—the eyes he loved more than life itself, the eyes that were about to be ruined by the truth.
“Baby.” Louis sobbed out, his voice breaking down the middle.
Harry held him tight against his chest, his hands trembling as he wiped another tear off Louis’s cheek. “Yes, darling. I’m right here. What is it?”
“I’m dying,” Louis choked out.
Harry’s world stopped.
The noise of the rain outside vanished. The warm air in the room went completely ice-cold.
Harry’s hand froze solid against Louis’s cheek, his green eyes wide, unblinking, locked onto Louis’s face as the air was sucked entirely out of his lungs.

Louis is sick but Harry would be with him every step of the way.

“Are you going to apologize?” Louis asked as last.
Harry seemed to consider that. “I should.”
“That was not an apology.”
“No,” Harry agreed. “It was an observation.”
Louis stared at him for one long, furious second before deciding that if Harry Styles had murdered his first wife, it had probably been by exhausting her beyond the limits of reason.
Or- Louis is a cheeky noble omega who has spent most of his life being disappointed by noble society. Harry is a half-Pack, half-noble alpha who has never quite belonged to either world.
Their arranged marriage is the last thing either of them wants, particularly when all of London believes Harry murdered his first wife and Louis would strongly prefer not to become victim number two.
Somewhere between endless arguments, awkward courtship, an estate that quietly becomes home, and the discovery that Harry is nothing like the man London believes him to be, Louis finds himself falling for the one man he was absolutely determined not to love.
Which would all be rather lovely if Harry’s first wife had actually been the whole story.
