Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.

So instead of dishing out executive orders in his gaudy office in Uptown Manhattan, he is forced to march down viscous, algae-filled and alligator-infested swamp waters with sticky pomade running down the back of his neck. The hot, humid and oppressive climate slowly eating away at his carefully curated persona of perfection, as a charming local Radio Host around him acts clueless.

Alastor pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling sharply through his teeth. “Let me get this straight. I have been forcibly deposited into a mortal vessel, next to you, with no warning, no explanation, and no immediate means of escape?”
“That’s the gist,” Vox said.
Alastor stared at him.
Then laughed.

It was a mutual decision. It was for the best that Vincent left Valentino’s collection because he wanted to be someone's special doll. Perhaps that was a rather romantic notion to have as he searched the crowd of a BDSM meet up. Maybe there was no room for sappiness when stress weighed on his shoulders and he just wanted to float in mindlessness. Maybe the spark of hope he felt when laying eyes of a familiar face was just misplaced nostalgia.
Alastor hadn’t been to a play party in a very, very long time. The scene had changed and it wasn’t to his taste. Whether it be guilt (highly unlikely) or curiosity, Vincent hires her on and things go well… until certain aspects of their private lives come to light. Secrets that can’t so easily be “swept under the rug”.

“No…” Vincent trailed off, avoiding eye contact once again. He really didn’t like being the inexperienced one.
Alastor seemed to perceive his nerves increasing at this line of questioning, and his already kind and welcoming voice noticeably softened. “Can you try something for me, darling?”
Vincent's stress is getting to him, and he turns to a paid dominant to take the edge off. Alastor is exceptional at making him fall apart, though the effect soon begins to go both ways.
How do professional boundaries hold up when one partner is experiencing true acceptance of his asexuality for the first time, and the other has found the only person to ever make him feel good enough?
