Oh god. Jungkook, a nocturnal creature, awake during the day? Urgh, he can already feel the sleep deprivation induced migraine kicking in. A vampire like him basking in the sun? Sounds like a recipe for instant sweat, sunburn and accelerated heat stroke. A vampire out and about in public with Taehyung, who recently picked up the habit of calling him Mr. Dracula, and other such vampire-y nicknames? Way to blow his cover.
Taehyung must be insane for suggesting this, and expecting Jungkook to just go along with it without any resistance.
And Jungkook must be equally insane for actually going along with this, with no tangible resistance from his end.

Summary
I never thought that I'd see Taehyung again—and in the heart of Seoul, of all places. It was spring and flowers were in full bloom by now. We were so far away from our hometown, but we somehow coincidentally found each other again in the big metropolitan city that neither of us were familiar with.
Taehyung and I had always lived side by side, in the same hometown where both of us were born in. Our hometown was the place of many memories. It was part of who we are. It's a bit silly, but I didn't really think Taehyung existed anywhere outside our hometown. It was a whole new level of strange to see Taehyung here on the urban streets of Seoul.
He was a part of my life and when he disappeared, a part of me vanished with him.
Seeing him now makes me think that maybe there really is no way to get rid of a part of yourself, no matter how far you walk away from it.

“Taehyung-ah…” I finally spoke up. I was starting to piece things together, “We’re not kids anymore. We can’t just go anywhere as we like without telling anybody and get away with it.”
“But we’re all grown up now! Why do we still need permission from anybody to do anything?!”
I wish I had an answer for that.
