An unanticipated storm left her stranded on the uncharted Nod-Kraian coast, little hope swelling in her chest.
The orange continuity kept fading and retracting its light in an absurdly everlasting pursuit upon the slowly replenishing trees and the rocks covered in dispersing snowy remnants of the harsh bygone winter and finally on Nefer, eyes blank and unreactive and veiling determined thought.
On her tongue swelled an unceasing taste of regret though it could not be traced; not even the greatest Natlanese meteorologists could have predicted their position.
However, a strange encounter with a beautiful creature she had only heard of through mythology proved that perhaps Nefer would not meet her demise with the haste she had anticipated.
