Clarke sputters an indignant laugh as he takes her elbow and steers her away from the doors. “You won’t let me out of the palace and you’re calling me a difficult person? You,” she fumes, “are insufferable.”
Bellamy merely grins. “Now that’s no way to talk to your husband.”
Clarke forces herself to stalk away before she can give into the urge to throw her glass of wine at him. She doesn’t know why she bothers, though. Somehow, none of their guests seem to notice the clear antagonism between the king and queen, or maybe they just don’t care. And why should they? The two of them are just husband and wife.
They’re not actually expected to like each other.

A breakup initiated by a wedding, a tumultuous relationship with his wild-child sister –– needless to say that Bellamy Blake’s spring is off to a rocky start. So once summer finally rolls around, and he’s tired of feeling sorry for himself, he knows it’s time to mix things up. Thankfully, a chance encounter leads him to a strange new opportunity. Working at the guest ranch in the mountains is supposed to be a chance to work on himself and his relationship with Octavia.
But the daughter of the ranch’s owner, Clarke Griffin, might just prove to be a bigger distraction than he was prepared for, though he wouldn’t say it’s an unwelcome one.
This fic is discontinued. The final chapter is a summary of how the story would have ended.

I've changed this description a thousand times. None of them felt honest. I just wanted to read a story of broken people finding each other and dancing to good music in the middle of nowhere. I also wanted to figure out how to write about consuming love. The beginning isn't great, it slowly gets better. It's dramatic, extreme, a very unrealistic love story. But it is a love story. And there are a few lines that make me smile.

Except when unidentified threats target Clarke, she's roped back into the organization seemingly overnight. Coming back to this life doesn't only bring the blood and death that Clarke's been trying to avoid, but it means being face-to-face with the boss in charge of this organization and the man she left behind, Bellamy Blake.
Or, Clarke returns to the Blake's mob organization, reuniting with her former lover Bellamy and the ghosts she ran away from in the first place.

When two of Clarke’s best friends, Wells and his wife Glass, die in an accident, she’s told that they’ve left Glass’s three year old daughter, Madi, to be raised by her Auntie Clarke. Clarke decides to move the two of them across country from California to a small town in Connecticut that her roommate in college told her about - Arkadia. California was never where Wells and Glass wanted to raise their daughter and Clarke remembers Octavia talking about how wonderfully welcoming and warm the town of Arkadia was to grow up in.
When she gets to Arkadia, she meets up with Raven, a girl she’d met a few times when she’d visited Octavia, and her neighbor Bellamy, a man who confuses her more than she’d like to admit, and she begins to find that what she expected to happen when they moved across the country, isn’t exactly how it goes. But sometimes, what’s meant to happen instead of what you expect to happen is even better.

Jasper’s head perks up, and he grins at Bellamy. “I saw something suspicious,” he slurs. Bellamy ignores him, and Jasper clinks his glass against Bellamy’s empty one before taking a big swig. Monty’s eyes meet Bellamy’s, and they both share the same exasperated thought. “That Collins kid was here all of five minutes before setting his sights on our pretty little nurse. That’s why Sheriff Blake wants to send his ass back to Mississippi.”
“That’s not—” Bellamy cuts himself off, refusing to engage. But why are all of them convinced there is something between him and Clarke? Some days, he doesn’t even like her.
Historical AU where Bellamy is certain Finn is responsible for the string of robberies in his town, and that suspicion has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Finn set his sights on Clarke. No one believes him, though.

Summary
The ceremony is surreal, like an out of body experience. She walks up a makeshift aisle, the crowd parting to watch her, to take her measure. She’s aware a priest of some sort says words that hush the crowd, but she can’t understand them. She throws a glance over her shoulder, where her mother is bleary eyed but stone faced. She shakes her head almost imperceptibly but she doesn’t interrupt or object. She knows their survival hinges on this.
She turns back to the priest, barely glancing at the man next to her, but his presence feels overwhelming. His breathing is even, he doesn’t fidget like she suddenly realises she is. He smells a bit spicy, a little heavy. Foreign. She nearly jumps when he shifts on his feet and brushes against her arm, the heat of him searing her skin.
Her eyes are firmly fixed ahead as the priest starts proceedings, as he chants prayers that she can’t decipher. She can only pick out certain words, and they all make her blood still in her veins. Death, fight, blood. If there is a word for love in trigedasleng she doesn't know it.
