Summary
What if instead of MK going through a heat cycle, it's Macaque and Wukong? Something happened, and both their heat cycles kicked in a way neither could have expected. As such, Wukong holed himself up in FLower Fruity Mountain to make sure he didn't hurt anyone, and Macaque sealed himself away in his dojo from any threats who would come after him.
MK, not knowing anything about this, finds Macaque in this intense heat and offers to help him. Though reluctant at first, Macaque gets help and can't help but relish in the pleasure he receives. For Wukong, that wi take a bit more convincing but MK has it, he's the only one who can worm his way into both monkeys hearts.

Summary
For many years Macaque believed his relationship with the Monkey King was destined to be doomed, on this infinite cycle of bitterness filled with broken hearts until the end of their immortal lifes.
He didn't know if Buddah was laughing at him from the sky, or if he gave him a second chance with the New Monkey King. But MK was willing to try and break the pattern

Arin drew his sword. When had he gotten a sword? He’d never used one before. “I left of my own will, in case you’re wondering,” he snarled. “I made my own choice. Ras is helping me reach my full potential, unlike Lloyd.” He spat Lloyd’s name with disgust that made Sora shiver. Arin had always said Lloyd’s name in awe, as if it were something sacred. Now he said it like it was equal to pond scum.
“I don’t understand.”
“Of course you don’t. You didn’t lose everything, not like I did.”

Arin disappeared two months ago, leaving just a note. Sora finds out what happened to him.

Lloyd knows it’s supposed to be a blessing. The ability to see all possible futures could help them navigate the chaos that’s been brewing since the Merge.
But these few nights, all Lloyd could see was him.
Within the field of graves, bloodied masks and fallen swords, there would always be a familiar orange figure. Only nothing about it resembled the student he’d grown to love. Arin would glare at him, glowing red eyes cold with hatred. The Gong of Shattering would sound, breaking Arin’s soul just as much as it would Lloyd's. The once orange spin crackled with potent red and black sparks.
