He’s a few feet away from UA’s gates when he proceeds to trip over his somehow magically untied shoelace and stub his toe roughly on a rock. He thinks, Fuck my life, as he hops around in a miserable, one-footed circle of pain.
He proceeds to almost fall over as a voice that is definitely not his echoes in his mind. What?
What? Izuku thinks back automatically, just as baffled as the voice.
Who... the voice stammers. It’s masculine but young, maybe somewhere around Izuku’s age. Izuku and the voice appear to have the same realisation at the same time.
There’s someone in my head! -dammit what was that demon’s Art?- oh my god how the hell- wouldn’t it be cancelled when I killed him? Is this a curse?- stupid snack runs, I’m never leaving my room again. What quirk would even- what is going on?

He clapped a hand on Percy’s shoulder. “Listen, I know you’re nervous, but don’t worry. We get a lot of kids here with ADHD and dyslexia. The teachers know how to help.”
Percy made a face. Damn, this was definitely a hazing thing. He thought they had cultivated a good atmosphere so that even if there was hazing going down, it was more friendly than cruel. Paul resolved to bring it up at the next staff meeting.
Before Paul could reassure Percy about the cheerleaders, however, Percy seemed to spot something over his shoulder and physically flinched under his hand. His eyebrows shot up and he removed his hand from the kid's shoulder.
“Where’s the orientation?” Percy blurted out.
“The gym. That way.” Paul gestured down the hall. “But—”
“Bye.” And with that, Percy bolted towards the gym.
“Percy??” Bewildered, Paul turned around, only to see Rachel standing there frowning after Percy.
…He was missing something here, he was sure.

Paul Blofis really *really* like his new girlfriend, Sally. He hopes that her son approves of him too.
....Did Percy just blow up a cheerleader?

The first time Percy Jackson washed up on Ithaca’s shores, thousands of years in the past, he had just been blown up by a volcano. Of course, Odysseus didn’t know this at the time. All he knew was that a strange boy in even stranger clothes had just been spat out by the sea, right onto his doorstep.
The second time was a much different affair.
OR, the two times Percy Jackson is sent to the past, and Odysseus's observations of a boy put through hell.
