Summary
“Is his mate here?” The doctor asked, and everyone shifted at the question.
“Mate? What do you mean by that?”
“…his significant other. Or at least someone who can help him through his heat. He doesn't have a collar on, so I assumed he didn’t have an owner and is from a facility.”
“I’m sorry- what?”
The doctor seemed perplexed at Chan’s question and the rest of the groups confusion. “…Hwang Hyunjin is a hybrid- an endangered one at that- and he’ll need to be taken care of.”
Or
Hwang Hyunjin’s world comes crumbling down when his identity as a hybrid is revealed at the age of 23. (Luckily- he has seven people to help build him back up.)

Summary
“Lan Zhan,” he repeats, gentler, and slides his hands up Lan Wangji’s arms, tugs the edges of the leaf down over his ears. Lan Wangji cups his wrist, holds him there. Wei Ying’s smile slips into something sweeter, older. Lan Wangji has catalogued every smile that has crossed his face, keeps them tucked in his heart. Needed them there, during those years when they were all he had. When he thought he might not see them again.
;
Sunshine on lotus leaves, a breeze gentle with late summer, wet hands on warm skin: Lan Wangji is home, settled, and in love.
