Summary
Four more people come stumbling through the doors - a short-haired girl in camouflage with a kid wearing what looks like the top half of a ghillie suit on her back, the kid hollering at the top of his lungs for a doctor like he’s on the brink of death. The reporter grabs the short-haired girl, stopping her from running directly into a frozen onlooker because she’s busy looking over her shoulder at a boy in a leather jacket right behind her, his face pulled tight with pain as he carries a limp, unmoving body, their head tipped back, pale face smeared with blood in the unforgiving halogen lights -
“Help him!” the kid is screaming, “Somebody, please -”
Oh, Wayne thinks, oh, oh, oh.or; wayne munson finds himself at hawkins memorial on march 27th.

Summary
Steve Harrington knows this world isn't permanent. They never are.
He blinks into existence, brand new and disoriented. He might not know where he is, or when, but he knows he's searching for something, for someone, as he's called on and on, all across the universe.
He always finds him.
Eddie.

Summary
“Well, I would order food, but I don’t really know if you’re gonna stay.”
Eddie blinks at her. “Why wouldn’t I?”
“I don’t know. Why wouldn’t you?”
There’s a whole laundry list of things Eddie could say in response: because your little brother put me up to this, because I don’t know you, because Dustin was right and you’re absurdly pretty, but he also failed to mention that you are incredibly out of my league as well. Miles and miles out of my league. You’re in a whole different galaxy while I’m still stuck on planet Earth.
“You look like Brooke Shields,” he blurts instead, and is proceedingly mortified at himself and his own blunt words, and also how ridiculously uncool that line sounded.
Even so, it’s true.
Stevie Henderson is beautiful.
Apparently, Dustin has an older sister. Eddie is the opposite of boyfriend material. Nobody seems to care about that.

Summary
It was 2023 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Steve Harrington didn't know what he was doing with his life. Home from college with a barely passing GPA, recently dumped, and drunkenly careening down a dark country road to the tune of his own misery, Steve was aware that he might be depressed. Therapy would've been the sane solution. But before he could turn around and make that choice, a glowing red hole cracked open in the middle of the road, and he was sent flying through time and space.
It was also 1985 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Eddie Munson had a five step plan on how to fix his life. First, graduate high school. Second, provide a kickass D&D campaign for the nosy little freshman that joined Hellfire. And finally, write more music and go on tour with his band. Okay, three step plan. Absolutely nothing about his plan-in-progress included stumbling across the hottest man he'd ever seen stranded on the side of the road. Or the glowing red portal to hell parked next to him.
