And why did everyone either want to kill or worship him? Turns out, being summoned as the Witch of Greed or Echidna comes with chaos he never signed up for. Fantasy dreams? More like nightmare fuel.

    When Natsuki Subaru is summoned to Lugunica, he expects a standard fantasy adventure. Instead, he gets beat up in a dirty alleyway, only to be saved by Reinhard van Astrea—a man universally despised by the Kingdom as a monster.

    Through a bloody encounter at a Loot House, Subaru, the slum thief Felt, and Old Man Rom find themselves "guests" of the Astrea Estate. But the estate is a gilded cage ruled by Heinkel Astrea, a patriarch who uses bureaucracy, isolation, and suffocating politeness to keep his son a broken weapon and his new Royal Candidate a hostage.

    Stripped of all leverage and forced to work as a junior butler, Subaru quickly realizes that surviving assassins is the easy part. The hard part is breaking the conditioning of a god who has been taught to say "Thank you, Father" for his own abuse. You can't punch a system. You can't fight a load-bearing wall. But Natsuki Subaru has never been the kind of person to let that stop him.

    Rin woke up in the middle of an all-consuming ache, his body feeling like it had just been run over by a truck-three times-and left at the scene like roadkill. Pain throbbed in his skull in relentless waves, so intense that he could practically see Itoshi Sae standing over him with a sledgehammer, bashing his brain without mercy.
    His legs-the very ones once hailed as the future of Japanese football-were now staging a full-blown rebellion. If they were tortured for even two more seconds, Rin was sure they’d just snap themselves off to save everyone the trouble.

    “What the hell is this??”

    Or Rin wakes up and finds himself another Itoshi Rin, who was accidentally lost when he was just born. Appearing in the middle of a mess, among completely unfamiliar acquaintances, the only thing Rin feels right now is: This damn world, let get destroyed!
