Summary
A year has passed since Sunny confessed to what happened, what really happened. While he's always going to be grateful for his friends willing to still be there by his side, especially after everything he put them through, he knows that this whole ordeal is far from over. Sunny needs to be clear and transparent about what he had been up to for all those years, and this entails going into uncomfortable detail about the extent he was willing to go to within the confines of his head just so he wouldn't have to face the reality of his situation every day. He needs to tell them about Headspace, and he'll never be able to predict what happens when he does. Despite all the attempts at prepping for this on Sunny's part, he is still ultimately woefully unprepared and emotionally stunted to handle any of this with the expertise needed.

Sunny hasn't fully healed mentally, noone really did, sunny only told the truth and by agreeing to Kel's begging he now has to stay here and face his feelings, not just the truth, as Mari's grave is visiting more and more often.

After the truth was revealed, Aubrey was the first to forgive them. After all, she almost did the same thing they did, if it weren't for Hero coming back at the time he did, knowing how she was then she probably would have covered it up to. It took her a week and a half to forgive them.
Hero was the second to forgive them. He had a lot of conflicting feelings about the truth, after everything, he's just grateful they were here to tell the truth. Considering what happened that night, he doesn't think either of them would be here if it weren't for Kel stepping in when he did. They all promised that they would be there for eachother no matter what, and he intends to keep that promise. It took him around 2 months.
Kel was the last to forgive them. It took him a year.

To celebrate it being a year since Hero's Journal by Bluebeery (linked in the inspiration thing) released, I decided to rewrite it! The project was my first major task as a VA, and while it wasn't my best performance, it made me fall in love with the hobby, and if it wasn't for the patience of Blue throughout my mic changes, I dont think I would've ever found it as interesting as I did.
While the main story beats are the same (especially for the first few entries), I tried to make it my own, especially throughout the second half! -
