Sunny risked his life to escape his dreams. When he moved, he left it all behind. His friends, Headspace, the piano, and the broken violin... Mari. All of it is behind him now. Kel still calls on occasion, inviting him to spend the summer with them, but despite how much he wants to visit, he can’t bring himself to go back to faraway.
...Until one day, the landline to his new home gets a call from the new folks who moved in to their old house. Ever since they found the broken violin, strange things have been happening in the house. A figure with long, black hair in the mirrors, the piano playing itself late at night, and a haunting eye, staring at into the house from the backyard. Sunny doesn’t need to question them further. He knows who it is.
And so, with nothing but a suitcase full of clothes, some cash, and a ticket to faraway, Sunny embarks on a quest to find out that his dreams may have more power of the real world then he might have realized, and to answer the call for help, or blood, that he knows his sister calls him to.

Omori considered himself to be a patient boy. But when he finds himself in the outside world and possessing his creator's body? This is really testing his limits. He has no idea what that spitting-dark image play is, but he is certainly not pleased with him abducting Sunny and switching their places. Oh well, he'll find a way eventually and have his vengeance. But Omori is too curious for his own good about the real world, having been stuck in headspace most of his life. This will lead him to deal with the problems of Sunny's real friends... Great, no one told him he'd be a babysitter.
Or in which our beloved monochrome boy takes the wheel as the main character and goes to touch some grass. Becoming universally beloved as he ventures around Faraway Town with his best pal, Kel. After all, a bit of trolling never hurts, right? Now with new side contents, alternative scenarios, and alters that have been added to give the story a new, fresh coat of paint.
Important note: The story is not completely abandoned, it's been moved to another story.

Sunny returns to faraway at summer time, after a one year old break. He is staying at Kel's and Hero's house for the rest of summer break, however Hero and Aubrey are not very pleased, while Kel and Basil seem glad. Sunny hasn't fully healed mentally, noone really did, sunny only told the truth and by agreeing to Kel's begging he now has to stay here and face his feelings, not just the truth, as Mari's grave is visiting more and more often.

Sunny tells the truth to his friends at the hospital. They're all trying to process the new information they've been told, and as they're still grieving, they're approached by a familiar, scary presence who blocks the door.
Something, the manifestation of all the trauma Sunny and his friends have gained from Mari's tragic death, suddenly appears in the hospital room one last time. Normally, this eldritch horror would only haunt Sunny, but after the truth was told, it appears in front of everyone.
Something wants to make everyone regret knowing the truth and end the friend group once and for all. Will all the pent-up trauma from Sunny and his friends finally break them to the point of no return? They have no choice but to work together to defeat this monster. -

The smoke has mostly cleared by now, and one thing is immediately apparent.
Where Sunny once stood there is now more than one silhouette, and as Basil steps back, four figures step forward.
The first to emerge from the mist is unsurprisingly Sunny. Except he looks… angry and his hair has a red tint?
'What?'
Did Kel cast a hair dye spell? Is that a thing? Aubrey might appreciate that one.
Before he can continue that train of thought, another person exits the mist and this time its… Sunny again???
“Kel… did you clone Sunny?” Aubrey asks in disbelief.
“Magic is real… what is my life?” Hero mutters, clearly going through another existential crisis.

Having failed to give Sunny a present for his 17th birthday, Kel resolves to buy his friend the best gift ever!
Only to settle on purchasing a strange book from a creepy old dude for $20, which ends up splitting the birthday boy into the manifestations of his four key emotions.
Shenanigans and emotional catharsis ensue.
TLDR: Sunny and the gang resolve their issues in the weirdest possible way, because therapy is expensive.
