Nothing's been pressing lately, so things have felt pretty calm in Headspace for Mari in recent times. Maybe a little too calm... but perhaps inheriting 51% of the Deep Well and an unhinged lust for power will spice things up for her a bit!

Hero became reckless over the years. Who's to blame him? With Mari dying by suicide, Basil and Sunny following 4 years after the fact, Aubrey running away, and Kel later going out via overdose. It became hard for him to be perfect all the time.
So when the possibility of Hero losing his perfect attendance record arose, it was reasonable for him to rush things. He knew the route and the traffic by now, so it was no big deal, he thought. Then a truck T-boned him. Straight into the driver's side, distracted driving.
So, game over, right?
Not exactly. Next thing he knew he was somewhere cold and dark, surrounded by the dead. Well, figuratively, they were all alive again, somehow.
