One mistake Jin Ling has made though, is asking both of them for advice. On one end of the spectrum, he has his jiujiu who while he can go to him for anything and if he’s lucky would only receive a ten minute lecture on how stupid whatever he did was, there’d be little that Jiang Cheng wouldn’t do for him. The only drawback was that the man was so emotionally constipated Jin Ling now equated Jiang Cheng’s empty threats to break his legs with ‘I love yous’. On the other hand was Wei Wuxian who is…Something. Obsessed and wild, he has no boundaries, especially when it comes to his husband.

Most of the time, people wanted low maintenance, hard to kill plants. A good majority of the time, the masses wanted the same plants as one another, not confident enough to branch out and choose something a little bit different or one that might require a smidge more attention than another. That made telling people how to care for the plants a chore and by god did it make Andrew feel like he was a NPC in some sort of boring slice of life simulator.
