Summary
Have you ever wanted to read a genuine novel with the rough plot of MCD? Me too! I can't promise this will ever be that- but I'll try!
Exerpt from the first chapter because I don't have the faintest clue I am doing:
"A masked man knelt upon the ground and felt the soil beneath his hands- it was no different than that which the town of Golden Drop was fixed atop- so barren that even weeds struggled to grow. Even the decades-old trees that had shaded the village once upon a time had yet to put out new leaves despite it being late spring.
It wasn't a pretty sight- The masked man knew the area well, for he had kept tabs on it for the past decade or so, and he knew that the previous year had been rough enough. What, with the crops bearly producing enough food to keep the townspeople from starving. Atop it all, the local economy had taken a massive hit as they no longer had surplus for which to trade for profit. The town's people were borderline starving by now as all their stored crop was all but entirely depleted from the long, hard winter months they had weathered."
